Choi Yuk-Kuen is born in 1987 in Hong Kong. She is going to graduate from The Department of Fine Arts of The Chinese University Of Hong Kong in 2009. She focuses on mixed-media and painting. Her paintings do not adhere to any fixed form, whether concrete or abstract. Her small painting series “Everyday objects” have actually no meaning at all. All she is exploring is the outline of the objects and the imagination these common things give her. She has participated in many local exhibitions, her works has been selected for The Chinese University’s booth in HKIAAF 2008. Her works are collected by private collectors.
