Lee Kang Wook was born in Ulsan, Korea in 1976. After graduated from Painting Dept., College of Fine Arts, Hong-Ik Univ.(B.F.A), he continued his study and graduated from Graduate School of Painting Dept., Hong-Ik Univ.(M.F.A). He has been the 3rd Resident Artist in Changdong National Art Studio, which is run by National Museum of Contemporary Art, Korea. Also, he has held many solo and group exhibitions in Korea and oversea, including Japan, China and USA, and has been awarded in many competitions. His paintings are usually composed with sensuous lines and many thin layers of cell pattern, in which it depicts a microscopic scenery.
